anyone have the magazine article explaining the research? would like to see that.. also, anyone know the VIN of this car?? just curious how far from the last actual VIN? BTW..is the last 69 car known??? probably questions for CRG...

Probably N675xxx.

Not the first time it has been foolishly marketed as the 'last' '69 Camaro convertible. The CRG db has 25 convertible VINs built after this one. It isn't even close to last one built.

Sequence of build for the unit would be the key element as to what VIN# actually ended up being last off the line.

Adds about as much value as this:

This is believed to be (but cannot be documented) the very last Camaro built with heavy duty battery and cooling, on a Wednesday, after 8 pm, during a full moon while Grumpy Jenkins was smiling.

My Z/28 is the last one (or first one or only one) that was built on May 15 1969 that ended up in Sweden. Must be worth some extra money and awards...
