Need a few more GTO's for MCACN Display!
It is going to be a great year for Pontiac's at MCACN this year. Along with the unveiling of the Prototype Trans Am, a '69 Ram Air IV Firebird convertible in a very unusual color combination and the one off '72 Adriatic Blue Trans Am, we will be hosting a special display of GTO's in honor of the 50th Anniversary. This display will feature Tenny's '64 Car and Driver GTO along with the Godfather of the GTO, Mr. Jim Wangers.
This display is not about quantity, it is about quality and rarity. We have some prime examples from 1964-1974, but I would like to add another 66, 67, 68 and 72 to the mix. If you own or know of a "best of the best" GTO and would like to be a part of this very special display, please contact me at THANKS! Bashton MCACN Managing Member |

Bob
This '72 is incredibly rare, one of only 3 post-sedan 455 H.O. roundport GTOs built in that body style that year....I am sure people would love to see this oddball. Some deets here. http://forums.performanceyears.com/f...922&page=3

I know it's a '70, but I'm sure it would be great to ask the Alaskan owner of the original Two-Lane Blacktop Judge to attend too

How about a survivor '67 GTO HO 4 speed in red, black bench interior, 34k original miles, original paint, that has been judged by the Vintage Certification program?

Re: Need a few more GTO's for MCACN Display!
Three manuals? Or three four-speeds?
I know the 3-speed was standard, but I don't know if the breakdown exists. |

Re: Need a few more GTO's for MCACN Display!
My understanding from Pontiac guys who have knowledge of the three cars - and their original owners - they were all M22 cars.
