Default Hellcat without the $20K markup?

Can you get one of these without the perceived markup? I keep running into people that wanted to buy them in the 60-70K range (and amazingly my wife was thinking oddly 'yes' for us), yet now most of my friends believe its $85K+, so they don't bother (and even we don't consider it anymore). We had an 'idea' to put a white vinyl top on a new one, if they came out with hemi orange (which they don't now), to match our 70 R/T Mr Norms car. Right now, that dream is not gonna happen, especially at the prices they seem to be at.

Any insights on where the Hellcat market is going? Figured some folks should know here.

I saw an Orlando dealers website and it looked like they were at sticker. If the inventory was correct, they had 3 in stock. I believe it was near the airport. I have been looking and some dealers are charging sticker. No experience with the guy but a man named Bob Frederick is selling quite a few and has a website with info on the cars. I believe he was at msrp and works at an Ohio dealership

Thanks Bill, does MSRP still begin with a 6? (say for example, with no upgrades)

I like the quote in that article, 'grandpa and grandson' for the pairing up of the 70 with the new one! That guy did a nice job.

Bob Frederick is/used to be in Canfield. My folks bought their Dodges there in the 60s and 70s. BF sponsored early Super Stock cars that were raced at Q.City in Salem among other tracks in the area. He is a good friend of Darrell Davis of Mopar Super Stock Registry notoriety.
