Hello everyone, we at MASCAR Classics will be restoring not 1 but 2 real confirmed and registered 1970 T/A Javelin's for the 2015 MCACN car show in November. One of these cars belongs to myself, I purchased it two years ago from the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum, the car was restored many years ago and was done to 1990's standards. The car is very nice, however not up to todays standards, so we will be doing a full restoration on this car. The second car we are restoring belongs to a high end and well known collector that has an amazing collection of very high end cars and wants his T/A Javelin restored to Gold status. I have posted some pictures of my car and 1 of the other car (with our red Deuce in the background) and we will be posting lots of pictures throughout the restoration process. We have started purchasing NOS parts as well as restoring parts needed for both of these cars. Kenny will start the rebuild of motors and transmissions of both cars next week. We are also having the owner of the T/A Javelin Registry out for a visit and personal inspection of both cars in the next several weeks.

We were honored when Mr. Weymouth showed his Trans Am Javelin at MCACN several years ago in the AMC/Ya display, (the one on the cover and featured in the new issue of MCR), so the idea of having a PAIR of these ultra rare cars is off the hook.
Looks like once again, we will be hosting a "twin" unveiling, like what we did with the '69 Pace Cars in 2014! Thanks go out to the Mascar crew and of course Mr. Tedro for making the commitment and for choosing the MCACN show as the place to Premier these cars. Were pictures ever posted for the 70 TA Jav builds? I am new to this forum and would be interested in any restoration documentation of these rare cars. Thank You - JJ
