Also I didnt notice before but 2 of the ear have been welded. I also found another Olds main case and it too had 2 ears welded.. Those Olds machines must have some torque!! <span style="font-weight: bold">Main case.</span> |

Actually I think those broken ears occur more often from someone trying to "pull" the trans into position with the mounting bolts when the new clutch disc isn't aligned properly. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/eek.gif[/img]
So technically it is the torque, but from some gorilla trying to torque it into place. |
