69 Camaro seen both ways, late car might be gold iridite, have seen a few that way. But for most of the run they were clear cad/zinc

You didn't ask, but while most jack bases had U69 on them, some had no stamp on them, at all.

It's also possible that LA Camaros used a different type of jack mast to NOR cars, here's a thread I started over at CRG that may be of interest:
