The bolt that bolts the battery box to the rad support is it pointed or blunt.I am missing the original one on my 1970 L78 Nova.Anay help would be greatly appreciated .Bob

On my Nova, one is pointed and the other is flat or blunt. I'm sure they grabbed what ever was there at the time.

I believe they are both tapered...will confirm later when I visit the shop.

Checked our 70 survivor...both bolts are tapered with sort of flat end...hope that helps.

Looking at my 71' Nova assembly manual, there are a total of 4 bolts holding the tray -- the two bolts that go forward into the radiator support are number 3960314 ... 5/16-18x13/16” flanged, pointed. The two from the bottom are 3945712 ... 5/16-18 flanged, flat nose (has a good sized washer attached)
