Default '67 Bench Seat RS/SS 396

Neat car...lots of mods so I'm surprised the bench survived....

I have never seen a factory manual trans bench seat camaro ever. The 396/325 is the icing on the cake.

There are two bench seat '67 Z-28s in the registry and both will be at MCACN in 2017.

A friend of mine ordered a 68 SS396 Camaro with a L-78/M-22 combination with the standard black front bench seat. He also ordered 4.88 gears and within a few months after taking delivery of the car he had the service department at the selling dealer add the L-89 aluminum heads.

The car went out to western Montana in the early 70s and I was told that it was made into a NHRA class legal modified production car.

Yes, a bench seat in a deluxe interior was an available option on a Camaro. The bench seat negated the possibility of ordering a console.

My 68 RS/SS L35 had a Blue Dlx Bench. with floor mounted auto shifter - looks just like a 67 shifter except with a cover plate.
