Default Interesting take on a '70 Chevelle

Quote:
Artist Ryan Sardachuk painted 42 paintings about the life of a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 from it's beginnings leaving the Auto plant in 1970, to cruising an A&W in the early 70's to being treated as an old used car in the late 70's, a college students clunker in the 80s, a redneck's hot rod in the late 80's and early 90's and finally as an American classic with a slow restoration in the 2000s.
The paintings do an excellent job of not just capturing the Chevelle but capturing each individual era. Thanks to their excellent background detail of capturing everyday life, Sardachuk will take you time traveling. It may perhaps make you feel nostalgic for a certain era (made me feel nostalgic for the late 90's through the mid 2000s). For those who own a classic car it may make you sit and wonder "what has my car been through before I purchased it."
Not only did Sardachuk give us excellent paintings but he gave us a story as well. Each description of the painting gives you a story telling you what year it takes place in, what condition the Chevelle is in and who owns the car.
