Nicely restored car - 1223379N100185 - but the partial on the block reads "29N1002xx" - guessing it's a factory error? Strange that the seller doesn't even acknowledge it, and never states whether the car still has its born-with block.

That mylar vin decal in the door didn't start until first week of August. That tells me they weren't very picky about originality. That door doesn't even have the ribs for locating the sticker. The ribs didn't show up until June. Besides, how does an 04C car get a 5/69 sticker?
partial vin certainly could be a mistake. Engine and trans are consistent.
