Rare car with the 3-speed manual. I had a 4-speed '66 convertible which was pretty tough to find parts for...I remember finally locating the discontinued throwout bearing I needed in some NOS stock and ended up buying a few handfuls to supply other GS folks.
This one will need everything, and frankly, it's probably going to end up a parts car for a better one. The '65-66 401 cars are great IMO but they don't bring the big money to justify a good resto. Link to 1965 GS auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
