I have a good 1969 396 Chevy factory 2bbl oval port cast iron intake. These oval port intakes were only used in 1969 396-265 low horsepower engine. Cast number 3952300- Cast date B- 24- 9. A two barrel intake 396 was designed for low end torque and were used in the 69 Impala's, station wagons and some Impala police vehicles in 69. This intake would make for a good low end torque truck with a big block engine, or a big block test motor. Intake has flash rust just needs a good shot cleaning. 25.00 dollars plus shipping. Being a cast iron BB intake these have some weight. So shipping could be in the 45.00-50.00 dollar range. Send me a message and your email address for pictures if interested.

No they never used a low horsepower 2 bbl 396 engine in the Nova. They were used in the 69 Chevy Impala and wagons when specified by the buyer who wanted this engine. Nova's came with two 396 engine choices, 350 HP or the L78 375 HP Killer Engine.
