Default More X Stamp Confusion 1111998

Hello everyone,

A previous distributor I came across had an X stamped before the part number
X1111498 that appeared to be part of the roll stamp discussed here:

https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=161801

I bought a distributer today that has an X stamped over the last two part numbers (see pic) Can anyone explain this? What's goin on???
