I haven't seen this one come up for sale yet - ex-Reggie Jackson car.
No docs, and originally green on green. Link to 1969 Crossram Z/28 auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 12437N629697 |

Find it hard to believe that its an ex Reggie Jackson car with no docs and wrong paint... Not his usual M.O in ownership..

To the contrary in my opinion. Having been part of the RJ collection is in no way a guarantee of quality or even authenticity. He and his former partner / RIP would routinely purchase such cars. They were auction regulars for years as buyers and sellers. Not to say that all his cars were like this.

Really CRAPPY pic of the engine stamp; but suspect even without a clear pic.
Fubarred the back stripes pretty bad. No reason to put a cross ram on it if you aren't running headers.

This car was owned by Carl Dwiggens in the 80s when he hired Dave Tinnel to do the restoration. Carl wasn't adverse to changing a cars colors to suite his taste. I don't recall if the motor was original to the car or not. He sold this to Reggie in a multi car deal. The rumor was 1.2 mill for 20 cars one of which was the orange ZL1 that sold at Barrett last year and one is the black copo at Smoky MountainMotors presently.

I purchased one of the 20 cars in that deal. It was a 67 427/390 coupe with a 400 Hp tri-power on it. Elkhart blue with black interior. 29K original miles. What a great car, wish I never sold it. Bought that car in 91 for 30K. Put it up for sale in 96 for 35K with no takers. Sold for 32,500.

Looks like the VIN is stamped on engine block deck by alternator- would this be possible on Norwood car built in late April '69?
