Default Neat Blue on Blue '68 Firebird 350/4-sp Convertible, California Project

"Running when parked" - looks like it has been sitting in this yard for a few years with the top down, something that would have absolutely ruined it in nearly any other region of the US, but given this is California, I'll bet the floors are still solid.

Would be cool to clean it up and vacuum out the interior - might look pretty decent.

IDK, being a coast car and the hood and trunk already rusted thru, I wouldn't count on the floor being solid. I don't see a top in the well either, seems to be MIA and for a long time by the white out lenses on the speedo gauge.

Still worth saving, but it's going to be more of a project than first appearance....but aren't they all...

The '66-67 Olds in front is far more interesting to me...

Perhaps, but I'd bet you a case of your favorite beverage that the floors are solid. I lived in CA for a good portion of my youth and was always amazed how well the floors survived even after the cars had sat out in the weather, sometimes with 3" of leaves.

I guess one of us needs to buy this so we can confirm the floor condition

My '67 Camaro is a CA coast car and the trunk floor was gone. Interior only had pin holes, but needed patches. Living near all that salt air/rain/fog eats the cars much more than being inland.
Not a convert or Firebird guy, so it's not interesting to me to pursue. I'll be doing good to get my Camaro done..
Kind of in a sad place right now, after reading of Verne's passing.....
