You could try Jessie Grooms over in Virginia. He is an old timer with a ton of inventory and the correct sewing machines too. 1965-1972 GM only.
He always sets up at Carlisle, but he is talking about retiring. His E-mail: [email protected] |

If you're up to it,in general,it's really not that difficult to restore them yourself at home.
You can wash the belts in the dishwasher, dye them in a bucket, take apart, clean & rebuild the metal/plastic buckles & re-paint them too.Removing the retractor springs isn't that difficult. You can even have the chrome plating stripped off the Male ends & re-plated by your local plater. My local Tailor re-stitched them back on. Finding the original belt webbing material is probably going to be the most difficult part of all,so try to keep the originals as much as possible. |

Just had Charlie do two sets for me. Came out great. Not the cheapest. But good work. Good communication with photos for approval ect.

Thanks for bringing this up! I spoke to Charlie today, I think I'll be sending him my early 67 gold belts next week!

Do these seat belt restorers have the correct date coded tags to sew on?
