Interesting car - didn't even realize Olds made a W-30 in '72. Definitely on the rough side, but according to the seller it's one of 370 automatic "X-code" cars produced in '72.

I have saved a few Olds in my day,but it would be tough to justify saving this one. I’ll bet the vin and data tag make its way onto something else.

The 1972 W30 442's are cool cars. They have an X in the VIN showing the W30 option. This X code was not available with Air Conditioning. They did put some X code engines in the Hurst Olds Pace Cars, also. They are the only Cutlass Supreme with an X code in the VIN.
