Hi Gang, take a look at the photos please.
The story I got with these was that when new, they were put on a spare motor in a collection and were just bolted to the heads without gaskets and sat for years. They are not perfect, but will be nice five footers IMHO, and they're still cool as all get out in a Day Two way. Some wear marks from being stored / shuffled around for years - and a ding as shown from something falling on it I would guess, There's also an abrasion where some of the finish is gone. There's black soot (the dots in the pics) on it in the photos but that comes off with a water soak and your fingernail; I left them out last night on the grass and they got dew on them and the spots come right off with my fingernail this morning without affecting the gold finish, but I'm leaving them as-found so you know what you're getting; they'll clean up better than shown below. The insides, if that matters, are nearly mint NOS - never had oil touch them. They are still dusty - I didn't fluff these at all for the photos - WYSIWYG as they say. Gold anodized aluminum of course. Lots of photos to give the full picture. Getting hard to find, these. 200.00 PPG plus shipping. Cheers all, Anthony Last edited by AnthonyS; 03-05-2023 at 03:10 AM. |
