Default 1969 Chevelle build sheet numbers changed?

These are pics of the build sheet that came with my car - has anyone seen codes X'd out and others written in?
the car did come with KM coded rear
both trans codes point to M21 not confirmed as it has a SC trans

I guess anything's possible, but if you're looking for a bunch of other similar examples as some sort of 'proof' that this type of thing legitimately happened at assembly plants, I doubt that you're going to find them.

thanks Bill there are lots of questions I have about this but seems like that writing was done before sheet was put up in seat from the spring marks? would of loved to find something like this that was a solid survivor but in the end i just was something fun to play with no pedigree req'd for that!

I have very limited information on 69's as I study the 70. Can't say for sure but I believe Baltimore, Framingham and Fremont L78 lists it as M21 4 SPD CL RATIO with code XD in box 28. On a Kansas City sheet the same engine and transmission has the trans coded as XD. Somewhere I have the part numbers and codes but for the life of me I cannot find it. Maybe it was inputted incorrectly originally. As for the 4.56 code however I cannot explain that unless it was missed on the original order sheet and caught after the buildsheet was printed?

Touch base with Dale McIntosh as he has hundreds of 69 buildsheets in his database. He may be able to come up with on that was also scratched out and changed. I personally do not feel that sheet was tampered with after the car was built but rather was a line change of some sort for unknown reasons. jmo

I have many Corvette build sheets, to say the least. There are numerous examples in my files where options, colors, ect were changed in pencil. These changes were often times due to supply shortages and other times they were due to owners or management requesting the change.
