Hi Guys, Does the carpet in a 1969 Z28 go under the console or does a couple of inches just push up under it? My car didn't have the console removed when someone installed the carpet previously. Thanks in advance.

From my experience the carpet covers the entire floor an trans tunnel (except for the shifter hole) and console mounts over it.

Ok Thanks. To be honest I was hoping it didn't then I wouldn't have to pull the console.
