I have worked on a couple generations of presidential limos and the current supplier of protective equipment has a history going back 140 years or so - including the updates for this car - so I feel a connection. The Kennedy limo presently resides in the Henry Ford Museum. We actually saw this car in one of the barns, before it was moved into display, back in the early 70's (?) maybe. https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/h...tial-vehicles/ K

If only they had put two agents on the back holding the handgrips. It would have been unlikely that shooter would have had a clear shot.

Somber day for sure.
If you ever want to go down the rabbit hole, and I mean *down* the rabbit hole about this and a lot of other things that happened in the 20th century, here is a great video. Long, but it's unbelievably interesting and thought provoking: https://youtu.be/niTwvtokYf0?si=xkhOPCAZL9n9W0ya
