#1 is in The Brothers collection. Looks to be Fred Gibb on the left.
Judging by the '72' in the dealership window the photo was taken in 1972, when Jim Hayter owned it. May be him on the right.

ZL-1 #1 was changed many times over the years
There are not a lot of good photos from 1969. In 1970 it was re-painted - close to the 69 paint but the stripe was different 1971 was different paint also ZL-1 #1 was one of the radical Harrell light weight Camaros with the fiberglass nose and many other mods Ray Sullins and Herb Fox drove it in 1969 , Dick Harrell drove it on its first race The guy who raced in in the 70s and 80s posted photos of it with blue paint.
