Default Chevelle disc spindles factory inspection marks

Can anyone lend some thoughts on these white and orange paint marks and casting numbers? These came off a 66 or 67 Chevelle I was told, but am curious. I found an older post about the marks but am curious if they’re legit. I’ll be adding these to the Classified/Pay it forward section later. Thanks in advance.

Will be checking this on a 69 this summer but have not got there yet.
We have 2 68's with discs and will check them also.
They are 4 piston calipers like a 67.

Your spindles need to be 67 as 66 did not have discs.

Pic is as far into front markings as we have gotten.
Both rotors have this.

Should be someone here that can carry this further.

For comparison, I removed these spindles from a '67 Chevelle with OEM four piston disc brakes. Not as many cast in numbers but similar inspection marks.

Dave is correct, no disc in '66. The anchor bolt machined surface on drum brake spindle protrudes noticeably further than does disc.

Thanks for the input, because these markings help further confirm factory assembly line parts. The complete setup is shown how I bought it, as well as the mounted caliper and 2 piece rotor. It does appear this is from a 67 car as well. I won’t need some of the parts and will be putting them into the classifieds.

Here’s the rest of the parts. Evaporust and electrolysis definitely helped.

Hi. That 5463497 dust shield is likely off a 1969 Camaro, maybe a Nova. In any event, that part number is for 69 and up single piston caliper set up in my experience. I’m guessing it would have to be modified from its original configuration to fit on a four piston set up.

FYI,
Anthony
