Default 1967 Mustang GT restyled by Zagato when new on BaT

Something you don’t see everyday, and probably didn’t know existed.

The bottom of the grille opening needs to be moved up and the bumper moved up as well for this to have a prayer of looking aesthetically pleasing. Not sure why they wouldn't have had the back seat match the fronts.

As with most customs, it just doesn't improve the factory styling.

Strike two actually as Zagoto goofed up a ‘66 Shelby the year previous, similar awkward front styling but note rear glass, pics below from this link…https://thegentlemanracer.com/2024/1...-shelby-gt350/
Geo. Barris’ Sonny/Cher specials yet more proof Euro Headlamps and Mustangs are a bad combination/look plain wrong.

interesting - having been associated with ferrari cars and the zagato designs, the top of the front bumper has ferrari/alfa parking/turn signal lamps.

Not a fan of the design on this car, but Zagato is the best in Ferrari/Fiat/Alfa designs.
