Default Did This Tachometer Sell?

I was watching this and was going to see what it would bring. In the sellers Description he says he has a $400.00 reserve.Yet now it has ended with a $255.00 price tag.Aren't these worth twice that price?

Seems like it sold to bobls6 for the $255 price. makes me wonder if the reserve may have been in reality more like $225 but the seller typed $400 in hopes of getting the price up higher.

The monitor has a lot to do with the value, if the monitor is not correct or is damaged you will have to figure another 200.00 for an NOS one. Usually the condition of both pieces will determine overall value. Alot of people desire the "greenface" over this model, but this "black face" style is the one in my Camaro and is the one that came in the car from Yenko.

I just talked to the seller.
He will not sell this tach for a penny less then $400.00.Seems he stated this, but missed checking off the Reserve Price option when listing it.
He says he will relist, and regrets this error. He will apologize to the buyer and tell Ebay this as well, but I told him that he has a binding contract now through Ebay and with the bidder to honor this exchange. He will fight it he said.

He may cause himself a lot of problems by not honoring this sale? I'm not sure he would get $400.00 anyway?

Rick, just getting old! Does Dr. Sam have a remedy for senility! I don't know, Camaro needs a lot of work and I don't think it will be done, would be nice to be up in the concourse area again, let you know.
