Joe,
Lane has been very nice to work with. Thanks for bringing up the new release of "Little Hoss". I anticipate a second version, of how it now appears (due to its heritage) with the bright red paint, 302 crossram, knockoffs, A&A hood and all. It was only fitting to have the first release as it was in the beginning. Dick Harrell met Fred Gibb only because Herb Fox got lost on his way to a baseball game in St. Louis. Herb was just getting Fred interested in drag racing, and they had ordered a new "302" demo racer, which became "Little Hoss". Dick helped them prepare the car during the summer and fall of 1967. Here is the release info from Lane: http://www.exactdetail.com/ed-site/C...Hoss/index.htm [Edited by 68TopStock (05-02-2002 at 01:40 AM).] [Edited by 68TopStock (05-02-2002 at 01:45 AM).] |

Just to bring those interested up to date, the model is being shipped to the dealers, please consider contacting my friend Steve, at Super Toy Cars in the above post if you want one. For those interested, the second version of "Little Hoss", painted to match Dick Harrell's '68 Funnycar, (as it now appears) will be released next year. They will be a fine pair for the descriminating model collector.
