Somebody looking for a Brown RS COPO

There's a guy trying to locate his fathers car. I've talked to him before about it and here's a post he made over at Wayne Guinn's site.

Looking for 69 COPO Camaro RS (L-72),Burnished Brown with white pinstripes & black deluxe interior,The car im looking for did not have a vynil top ,rear spoiler or a console. the car was sold in 1972 in roseville michigan ,frame was connected and some welding had been done on the rear axle (To prevent wheel hop).Car was purchased new in 69 from merollis chevrolet in east point (formerly east detroit) michigan.I would love to have my dads car back ,if anyone has any knolledge of this car or one you believe may be this car PLEASE email me [email protected] or call 586-790-9992. I thought maybe someone here knows about this car and could help him out. I know Mitch M. in KY had a brown RS COPO a little while ago, but I don't think it was the same car.

Jeff, wow i cant believe its been 5 yrs since we talked.
