Somebody said these things were in the $80k range? Here's one for $55k with only 750 miles? What's the scoop, is a signed dash worth $25k?

I wonder if it will be worth that to the next generation?

Would suspect there're better places to put 55k investment-wise than a DEI-SS. Maybe even a better way (or two) to spend 55k car-wise. My guess'd be future generations will look to GN's, 5.0's, oh ... and Supras, as the cars that speak of their hot rod pasts.

SO true it makes me want to cry. The DEI SS are awesome, but not becuase he is a legend. They look awesome, sound great, and run real fast. A autograph is cool, but won't mean much later on. Maybe a Van Diseal twin turbo supercharged 1000 shot nx RX7 Supra or whatever it was could bring that kind of money.
So sad really.

So if the Intimidator isn't worth 55k and maybe not a good investment, are the Bergers worth their price?

I would say so becuase it has everything the Intimidator has but it doesn't only appeal to diehard racers. When you go for a specific group, granted camaro owners a specific group but dale earnhart's camaro owners are even more specific, then one day the value will hit it's peak and only those few that remember him will want the car. This could also happen with camaros in general now that they are extinct.
But a Berger SS signifies everything a musclecar is supposed to be. Along with the years the dealerships has suppported Camaro's and Camaro racing. We will all remeber Berger Chevy cars like the older generation rembers Yenko, Fred Gib etc. I might be bias to. The 02 Berger SS is my 2nd most favorite Camaro.
