Default Anyone else into vintage Harleys?

Just wondering if any other members are into vintage Harleys? I've owned 4 new Harleys since '93, but fell in love with Panheads at a Mansfield, Ohio vintage bike show in '95 and have wanted one ever since. My preference is for the '55-'57 Pans and I have been bugging the owner of a local bike shop to sell me his primo '56 without any luck yet Anyone else a Pan or 45 fan? Mark, I live, breathe, and eat(bugs), over these things and always have. If you want a nice old Knuckle, Pan, or Shovel let me know. If we cant find exactly what you want I can build you one to order. About every three cars I have to build a bike for therapy. I am not much of a lover of any after 1969, as with cars. About the only thing I like that were built after 69 are women! Right Steve?
Thanks,
Motown

Matt, We have more in common than the Great White North! Can't say I've been interested in them my whole life like you, but it took a near death experience to get me over the fear of riding on the street and I haven't looked back ever since. I'm bikeless right now and need to get another '67 Z and the new house built before I can think about another bike. However, if you run across a mint restored Pan or Civilian 45, please let me know. Tony: Very cool collection! With all of that cool iron in the garage, how do you pick one to ride over the others? My first bike was a '93 Fat Boy and I rode that thing everywhere. I really never thought I'd sell it until I saw the Road King and had to have one. Bought a solid black (is there any other color?) '95 and although it looked sweet, I didn't like riding so high compared to the Fat Boy and I much prefered the solid mount motor. I ended up on another black Fat Boy the following year. I guess I like the Fat Boy 'cause it looks so clean - same basic lines as the hardtail Pans.

Matt...I think I sent you some pics. First time sending pics. Will send detail shots later. Lots of people say I do look like the guy fron the Harry Potter thing. Except for the tattoo's.......Mark, It depends on my mood and where I am heading as to which one to ride. Road King usally gets me there quicker. Black and chrome, right Matt?........Tony

Tony, Black and chrome, and just flat black if necessary, as we know chrome dont make it go... Got the pic's, looks like a really nice original car, as you stated, you could not have got a better color choice. If you part with it let me know, I am sure I could give it a good home sitting next to some black and chrome on two wheels in the garage.

Matt....Yep, chrome don't get ya home. The 103 and the assembled pan are flat black. I will keep the car, thank you. Looked for 3 years for it. I need to payback Al for locating it. He won't take cash. Any suggestions? Thanks again for the advide. I appreciate it. Mark....If you are interested in a project, one of us can help find one for you..........Tony
