Default Vacation Fish story ok not a story but still FISH

Hey folks, my family and I just got back this week from a 2 week mainland vacation , one of which was to Alaska do so some fishing. I did the fishing my wife did the catching. Her first time fishing and after only having her line n the water for 30 mins shes lands a 35 LB Kenai King Salmon.

Just had to brag about my fisherwoman.

Yes Steve and his wife were the hosts. like I put in the guest book, Hilton and Holiday Inn could learn from them. Great time and the kids loved it also. Hard for them to get used to daylight all the time though.

Hey Jeff and Steve, that is pretty neat; although I have to admit I've seen that for 40+ years. But it is cool for new folks to experience that. Now when I go to Hawaii Jeff can call me a Huale, (meaning white guy from the mainland). But when Jeff comes to Alaska I can call him a Cheechako, (meaning a greenhorn from outside), Ha-Ha [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Don't know why we didn't think of you guys coming to Kodiak (about 150 miles to the South) as Steve has the plane. I just returned from Kodiak yesterday. We could've brought you in some King Crab with each leg having the meat about the size of a small lobster.

Kevin do the King Crabs get to 60LB like Steve's King Salmon he caught today that Scott is holding up?

Boy, that is a huge one! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif[/img] Nope, King crab aren't as heavy in comparison to King Salmon. I'll see if I can find some King Crab when you guys come to Seattle.
