thanks for asking i just bought the car and i got it this week i spoke to the three previous owners who clain it was a factory installed option.the factory matching 396 heads came with the car and are like new.i am supposedto be in contact with the original owner soon as well as the dealer.the car is an original paint car .all matching numbers.ill keep you posted
