The current owner gives alot of info so it shouldent be very hard to trace. If it was a L89 in the artical in 1969 and the block says so then it would tell the story.

Ive seen the car and I think it's what it is being described, It's been on the registry for years, It was owned by the Lynch brothers who bought several cars from Otis C.including the Rally green Baldwin Motion car when he started moving his investments around in 98-99, Car looked nice, Just a white car with a auto though.
