Cool!! Ray do you have any vintage pics of the car that you can post? How about any stories? Is it true that Dick actually went on the test drive with you?

Thanks for posting, Jeff. No, I never would have guessed making news Internationally, but I am just only one of the boys, not a Super Star. All this recognition would not have been possible if it were not for those directly involved in the building of this car. The real Super Stars, in this case are Dick Harrell,Fred Gibb,Dave Libby,Vince Piggins, and others, I'm sure? Without their dedication to keeping Chevrolet competitive, this car would not exist. I just happened to be the one that bought the car new, never knowing that all this history and interest, would someday be a small part of interest in "The Golden Era of the Muscle Car," and those involved? Just glad to be able to contribute some of the history and documentation to pass on to others, as the years glide by.

What I do cherish, is the many friends that I have got to meet. Since I have owned this car, I have met sooooooo many people,(Can't remember everyone's name) who enjoy their cars, and tell their stories of long ago. Most of this would have never happened, without this car? Thanks to all who have done so much research, to bring out true facts of Chevrolet History. Thanks again, Jeff!!

Ray

Gee, those photos look familiar? I wonder who might be responsible???

Congratulations Ray!!! I've been wondering when this car would be in the spotlight again. An amazing car and a true "Gentleman" of an owner. That's an unbeatable combination.

(Hmmm, posting #450. Couldn't be more appropriate, huh?)

Ray,

Thank you for your post, I am humbled to have my name linked with the gentlemen you mention. I was after all only one of the wrench monkeys who was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. But I am glad I was!
