they were used on 69-82 corvettes 8" rallys. Not too rare but should be worth something if you want to sell them. I might even be a buyer on them.

I have my doubts about prices that high for just trim rings. ebay con artists have ways of jacking up something like that and then everybody thinks that theirs is worth that or more. I would beleive $200 to 300 perhaps but not $800.

There are a lot of vette rallys out there and trim rings are not that hard to find. But I am old and what do I know? for that matter what does anybody know. They are only worth what someone is willing to pay.

-------When you talk about 8" and 7" trim rings a couple of things pop to mind.
-------1st. All 8" rallys made by GM are the same offset.
-------2nd. Not all 7" rallys are the same offset. Indeed, some are so much different that they use different trim rings.
-------Two 7" rallys are of interest here. The 1st. is a circa 1970 or so Monte Carlo 15/7 rally which accepts a narrow 6" style 67 Corvette style trim ring. The extra inch from 67 Vette 6" wheel to Monte style 7" is on the back side. The 2nd. is the 7" 68 Corvette style which has the extra inch on the outside and therefore can and does use a 69 style 8" trim ring.
-------If you are talking about the four clip 67 Vette style trim ring you are talking about a rare piece for obvious reasons. The 67 Vette guys have priced them out of sight. Good ones are extremely hard to find. I paid $800 for an NOS set all the way back in 1997 and was offered a profit shortly thereafter. Didnt take it as I needed them.
-------If you are talking about the wider ring that goes on either an 8" or 7" Vette style rally, they are around although I believe in smaller and smaller quantities as time goes on.............Bill S

-------P.S. Im not as strong on Camaros as I should be but these valuable trim rings may also have been used up by Z-28 guys as well?

You are right about the 7" rings. 8" are a deep wheel and only came on Corvettes and there are a ton of them around. I know that I must have bought at least 50 sets when I had the car lot. Someone was always stealing them until I chain link fenced my used car lot.

Most 7" were not taken care of like the vette wheels were and therefore you just don't run across nice ones much anymore.
