Default 70 LS5 Chevelle Convertible on Ebay

Does anyone know anything about this 70 Chevelle SS 454 convertible? The reserve wasn't met at $157,600.

The mention of "CanAm Series" brings back some fond memories. Used to go up to Mosport all the time to watch them and the Trans Am cars. I may be wrong, but I think a Canam Car still holds the Mosport track record to this date (Mark Donohue????)

As far as this car is concerned, I really don't see a "one race only" pace car from one of our obscure Canadian tracks being worth this kind of money. Now if it was Indy or Daytona that would be different.

Just my meager two pennies worth
