Looks like a '70 to me now that we can see the bumper and the markers. Probably not an original SS since there is no engine designation on the fenders.

[/ QUOTE ]If that's the case, then they did manage to get the grille and headlight bezels painted correctly, which is more than I can say for alot of the restored SS Novas running around today. Maybe you just can't see the emblem holes in the horizon line on the dark car. No one ever noticed them on the prototype 6 cyl Deuce mockup used in the "Mini-Muscle Car" ad flyer either...but they were there. Take a look at the original 8x10"s at the SCR7. Just my opinion though, not getting into another "was it an SS or not" debacle. A cool Nova either way. Thanks for posting the pics.

The car has obviously been repainted, (unless GM installed those giant rear wheel flares!) The emblem holes could have been filled at that time... Consider the fact the car was 5 years old when the article was written, a TON of stuff could have been done to it by then.

That looks like the Nova that was in a lot of Thrush muffler ads in the mid 70s.. if thats the case it's blue in color.. I'll try and dig one out and post a pic if I remember to.
