Default air pan / cold air box

what was used on 60-70's cars to seal the hood to the carb for cold air induction.i'm doing a old school performance build up on my camaro.i'm running a sbc with a edelbrock TR-1x tunnel ram and a L88 hood with a grump lump.

Some of the ones that I've seen used the kind of foam that comes in rolls from a hardware store. Not real hitech stuff. Schonye
