Default Trivia question

On October 31,1961, James joined the 101st Airborne Division and starts parachute training. During his 26th jump, James broke his ankle and had to leave the army.

Actually it was Billy Cox,and the band he played with on their 67 U.S. tour was- drum roll.....

It is my memory that Jimi "opened" for the Monkees, which did not go over all that well with the bubblegummers when he lit his guitar on fire.
I think '67 was when his first album was released "Are you Exerienced", and the band was known as the Jimi Hendrix Experience. I think the drummer's name was Mitchel (?).

Belair, you're only about the 3rd person in the world I've known who actually remembered SWLABER! I actually used to play that song in my high school band. (The Other Half)
