Default 73 Grand AM 73,000 miles 455

I got this car and have intentions of driving it for fun; however, I would do it an injustice if some one wanted to restore it. It's a low mile loaded car, that everything still works and I mean everything.

455, sunroof, and 3.08 limited slip. Every factory hose and what not is still hooked up and functioning.

If anyone really wants to do this car right it would be great; otherwise it will be a driver while I have it. Here is the original window sticker that came with it: Sticker

The noses turn to dust, not magic dust. 500 of the pieces are in the trunk.

I take it the "Endura Pliable Front Panel" isn't so pliable after all these years.

You would think a Moderator would have said this:
"Please state how much you are asking for it".

Let me do some calculating

I traded for a 69 Judge body I valued at $3,500
I put on some snowflakes with brand new TA Radials $350 pro-rated.
I spent $250 replacing the clutch on the original AC compressor,$150 on ignition tune up, $200 on new front window, $200 on tranny, and $300 on new exhaust....

that totals umm..... $ 4,750.00 invested.

Since I would like to give it a home with intent of restoration or keep it because I love to drive it down the highway, break even would be fine with me.

Let me give all the details as I know them. There are 4 rust issues: both rear wheel molding areas are rusted, right front fender lower rear (just like they all do and the original owner told the guy I got it from it started 2 years after he had it), and the worst is the upper front window channel from the vinyl top. It is the original paint and doesn't look that bad considering. The front nose is in 500 pieces. The dash light on the AC control doesn't work. And the 8 track player drags just a little, actually I'm not sure if it isn't just my 8 tracks are 25 years old. Everything is old and a little weathered.

Little things like the factory part number stickers for the suspension springs are still on it. And it flys down the highway and floats like a butterfly. I drove it to POCI in Joplin 100 MPH the entire way with the air on and got 12.37 miles to the gallon. HAHA

Hope that's enough and rememmber that
