Default Olds off-roader

Remember when Olds was into off-roading back in the late '60s and early '70s? I remember James Garner was racing them. I know they ran Toronados and Cutlasses. Seems kind of funny now but I don't think they were totally out of place back then. Anyway, here's an unrestored '69 Olds Cutlass, untouched as it last ran at Baja in 1972. Cool piece of history.

pic #3. Sorry about no engine shot. The hood was never up while I was around.

Cool Spyder wheels on that Olds.
Was this car featured in the 1969 James Garner movie,"The Racing Scene"?

Yep, great Spyder wheels - just like on the "Lawman" drag car.

Oh crap, sorry about the Ford reference.

How about that Yenko style Hurst dual-gate riddled with toggle switches?

It's kinda funny looking as a 4x4!
Not really my style, but in the day, I probably would have driven it, if asked.
