Hello gang. I have a 1969 Yenko Camaro and I have looked behind the rear seats, in the backs of the bucket seats, under the carpets, inside the doors and any place I could think of to try and locate this cars build sheet. About the only place I have not looked is up on top of the gas tank. After 35 years, those bolts probably are not very interested in wanting to come loose. lol
Where has everyone else found the build sheets to their 1969 Yenko Camaro's? Thanks. Steve 13 year Independent AMSOIL Synthetic Lubricants Dealer |

Being a Norwood car, I would not hope for finding a build sheet. You can though compare the VIN against the listing of Yenko Camaro VINs that are listed here on the site. Go to the Yenko fourm and select the year of your car.
Can you also tell us a little about it and to the cars history and what number owner you are. Pics would be nice also ![]()

Steve?????? Are you the same person that told me a few years ago that all ZL1 camaro's came with a 140 mph speedo? just curious cause I talked to someone with a screenname like yours that disputed my car cause it didn't have one.

Welcome to the site Steve. Steve has a Olympic gold Yenko and I think has had it for awhile. And yes it is # 579444 on the list. You most likely won't find a built sheet on a Norwood car. I wonder if Warren has anything on his car ? Brian ?

Not 100% sure if Warren would have paper on that car, but he could. I have yet to pull any interesting paper from a Yenko/COPO Camaro other than a carpet tag or see crayon job numbers. Other than Yenko file folders from Warren or the dealer paperwork that would have accompanied a particular car, I would be hard to find any extra stuff at this point in time. Thats what makes the SCR so nice is that people can pull together their efforts and help ID cars through body #, time frames, etc, plus the excellent people here that lend a hand..BKH

Steve welcome to the site.. I might have jumped the gun here. I was not trying to start a fight here just thought this would be a good place to talk about the speedo issue and it could have been someone else that I talk to anyway. I should have not brought it up so soon I guess. Sorry if I sounded like I was looking to fight I'm not
