Hello Marlin,
You had asked for some pictures of my buddy's original and untouched 6000 mile LT1 motor and here they are for your review and analogy. I have only posted 2 pictures for now but have an additional 45 photo's I can send you for resto comparison purposes. ![]() This shows the complete motor as intact and original. ![]() Here you can clearly see the CTB crayon marks on the side of the block. I have an additional 45 photo's which include a lot of good tight shots of this unrestored and original 6000 mile LT1 motor. It belongs to a good buddy of mine and perhaps he can chime in and tell you how he acquired it. I told him you wanted photo's of the markings for comparison purposes and he was cool with me taking these. You might also recognize the Yenko Deuce in the background. I believe this is car #122 and it belongs to a local friend who just brought it out to get some resto work done on the car. It just so happened to arrive last night and made an awesome backdrop for this motor to be photographed. (lol) PM me and include an email address where I can send you the rest of the photo's that detail the original ink stamps, paint markings, pad stamping, and carb stamps. Enjoy.....Graeme
