Ok,here is the info from a 68 TSB.The info was given to identify compressers with a refrigerant leak due to a "bad seal".The codes noted in the lower right were the "problem" compressers.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine while at shows.Very few people have the correct info and use the repop generic decal with a blank space for the code. Most of the time the decal is not even close to what was correct for the given year.I had the 68's reproduced several years ago and have yet to find them advertised anywhere else.....

Thnx Steve looks like I have the correct date on the Caprice..need to look in the attic at the other one...next question is there any difference in lets say my Caprice BB unit and the Camaros SB unit???? both being built 11/66 for the 67 year...its crazy both cars are Los 11B cars..sat in the same lot when new now sitting in the garage next to each other...lol...reason for the question is if the one in the attic is off date wise.. its more important that the dated one be on the Camaro...thnx for the info
