------I have been wondering for years what happened to that Elky. I saw it in Hinsdale in 1978/1979 time frame and the car was just exactly as these pictures show it now. I dont know whats been done in the intervening years but it appears as if time has benn very kind to it. You have made my day by finding this one..........Bill S

Joe,
I placed the ad for Bill who owns the car. His protect-o-plate had the original owner who I still found in Tennesee. I don't remember the dealer. The protect-o-plate may show the dealer. The original owner said he had the L88 installed under warranty since he worked at the dealership...those were the days! Mark |

Looks more like a L72 425 hp to me? Where are the alum heads if it is a L-88?

Rick,
Bill did have the car at the Schaumburg, Il Chevelle show in '98. The original owner told me it was an L88 he had installed. I never checked the numbers myself. I'm sure Bill could get the motor numbers. Mark |
