Many months ago, I started a thread about the "correctness"
of a starter heat shield for 69 big block Camaro's. I have a new question for this group along those same lines. Recently, I have seen several large "S" shaped clips on ebay that are reported to have been originally used to hold the starter wire away from the exhaust manifold. This clip is sheet metal, shaped like an "S" and has an additional tab to hold the starter wire(s). I am trying to determine if this clip was original to the 69 big block Camaro's, Nova's, Chevelles, etc.. Can anyone chime-in here about whether or not this clip was used in the 1969 model year, or possibly later years. ![]() Thanks, Steve
