1973 Nickey Chevelle SS ?

I located what is said to be to be a 1973 Nickey Chevelle. Anyone ever heard of or seen any of these?If so what kind of production would there have been?Wondered if someome made it up years ago as the paint is nowhere near new and it does say Nickey.Also has a hood mounted tach similar to something Pontiac would have used and a trunk mounted 3 piece spoiler similar to a Camaro. Any help would be appreciated,Thanks

EXACTLY the same.Any idea on production ? The car i have access to is silver/gray w/black stripes.Looks like the one in the picture might be the same color.Now i am positive the car i looked at was for real!Anyone with more info i would sure appreciate it,Thanks

Sadly, I know *nothing* about the cars...I ran across the above picture while I was digging through the attachments here on the site from various users...anyway, the picture was taken from the article below...maybe someone will recognize it and chime in...

Ken is a member of this board and the 67 Camaro is also owned by a different member of this board now and is beautifully restored. The car also appeared on the cover of Popular Hot Rodding back in 1967 showing a yellow big block being dropped between those beautiful fenders!

Just FYI, my red '67 Bill Thomas built car was not the one on the cover of Popular Hot Rodding. Also, that whole idea about Nickey and yellow engines is not true, at least, according to the man who installed most of them.

Just wanted to update and notify everyone that the so called "Nickey car" in the above ad is a fake.I bought the car from the owner named in the magazine ad from 93 shortly after i inquired about it here a couple weeks ago.After some research and help from a couple guys on here and a NICB report it was a complete fraud.I have notified the seller that the car is being returned and i will be getting my full refund plus transport fees.When i bought this car 2 weeks ago it was advertised as being a 73 Nickey Chevelle 1 of 9 made.The seller knew it was refund the moola or go to court with no chance of winning.The vin is 1D37Y3K602876 take note for future reference,,,"ebay possibly"? Hope not but if he tried it once who's to say never again.
