That's not an original GM tag, it's a repro tag. So the scammers will end up getting scammed and a new dusk blue Z28 will appear some day but the tag will make it obvious it's not real.

Good idea but ebay removes the auction after 90 days +/-. In order to keep a record the auction should be printed and entered into a database.

If I am not mistaken, I think Jeff C keeps a database with all the cowltags being sold on Ebay.

Yep Jeff does. IMO, I wouldn't mind keeping records of the bidders though. Not sure I would trust purchasing something from someone who thinks buying trim tags is a good idea.
