Old Ramp Trucks
Hello,
Well....This is a goofy topic for sure!!!! I was just looking at this old ramp truck on ebay and it reminded me of trucks I use to see at the dragstrip back in the 70s. If you had one of these, you were a serious drag racer. I just drove there....opened headers and changed tires. Nothing like laying on your back in the dirt!!!!! That second one is very cool!
I would paint it a period correct color... like a dark blue or beige color, slap on the NHRA and drag racing decals and haul my car all over. Really cool!

On My Classic Car dennis was showing a guy who had one of those pug nosed tow trucks all redone is was extra cool and the guy did a real nice job restoring it.

Talk about a neat way to arrive at SCR8 with your Supercar. Yeah, it'd get bug-strikes from being out in the open but it would still be cool. Definately old school.
