Anybody care to step in here and explain why there was the one and only GT500 Super Snake and an original 1965 427 Cobra in the "Member's Rides" section? As well as both drag racing?

I heard the Cobra did 16 passes and did a 12.02 @ 116... on street (bias ply) tires, through the exhaust, on pump gas, starting off the line in 2nd gear and going through the traps in 3rd gear? Plus, both non-GM , non- Supercars were DRIVEN to and from the track, not trailered.

I may be biased, but, if those are not "super" cars, what are???

Colin

Charlie,

If I know Carl he is only Kidding. The Cobra, Super Snake, and the others all gave the show a flavor of diversity. Kinda of reminded me of the old published road tests from back in the the day where these cars faced off on the track.

Carl speak up here.....

Phil
