Check this out, American Express has a promotion going where you can get cars such as a Mercedes, plasma tv's, ect for only 5,000 points. you have to click this certain button on their website precisely at 2pm or 7pm...I just clicked it and it popped up the winning screen with the order sheet and my shipping info for a Marantz 50 Inch plasam tv and theator stereo system. It said I needed to put in my phone number in case they needed to contact me with a shipping problem. I put in the number and the screen just freezes and stays where it is. there is a phone number so I call and tell them what happened and they say they are having problems with the site. I print out and fax the page to them and they say I won but there not sure and have to check it out and will let me know in 48 hours

..Lets see what happens...to bad it wasnt the Benz

Be very careful: if they ask for anything more personal than your tel number I would guess that it's a scam in progress.

Good luck Sam! That is a cool TV. Now you'll have to get into HDTV. Once you've seen a football game or race in high def, you will never watch it any other way. Keep us posted.

Ive been into this stuff for a long time,Home theater, I have a 50" Panny hd plasma wide screen with DirectTivo HD box,Integra stereo, dvd recorder, ect, and Paradigm speaker system..Whole house and yard is wired for sound

Nice stuff. It doesn't sound to me like you need that plasma. I'll PM you my address. Just have it dropped shipped here. It will go nicely with my 65" widescreen, Dish DVR, Onkyo sound and Pronto remotes.

Does Dish have dvr HD yet? Nothing like recording in HD..I barter with a guy in the business so I get the top stuff for little more than a song..

They have the 921 and 942 DRV. Both are total crap. I have the 921 and it has more bugs than an old barn Charlie would find a stash of old Vettes in. I have to reboot it almost daily to keep it running.
